  • Contact form: your name, email address, topic, subject and message. Messages are emailed to our editors and stored in our website’s database so that none are lost.
  • Comments: if you comment on an article, we collect the name, email address and comment you enter, plus your IP address and browser details. Comments are held for moderation before they appear.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4, added through Google Site Kit, to understand which pages are read and how people find them. It collects pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser information, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the services that run the site:

How Long We Keep Information

  • Contact messages: deleted automatically after 12 months.
  • Comments: kept while the comment is published; spam is deleted.
  • Analytics data: kept for no longer than 14 months in Google Analytics.
  • Security and server logs: kept for a limited period by our hosting and security providers.

Children’s Privacy

BeautynFacts is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
