Eight rules to always see you perfect.
Makeup is wonderful because it can make you look not only prettier, but more elegant. Learn about the rules of chic makeup here:
Rule 1: Impeccable foundation
- Your makeup base should match your skin tone: Before buying it, you have to apply it to your face (not on your hands or neck). That area of your skin is different from the rest of your body. It is also essential that you see it in natural light. Don’t mind, walk to the store windows or jump to make sure it’s your shade
- Use a fluid base: Dense bases give you the effect of bitumen
- Dilute your foundation with moisturizer to make it thinner and more natural.
Rule 2: Light up
- It is one of the best inventions because it allows you to give light to the skin so that it looks young and cared for. The key is to apply it in strategic areas so that you look more like J-Lo and not like a bowling ball.
- Apply highlighter to the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, above and below the browbones. You can also apply it to the clavicle if you wear a dress or blouse with a neckline.
Rule 3: Imperceptible compact powder
- His goal is to kill shine and not look like French bread
- You must find a balance between mattifying areas that can make you look greasy and leaving others moisturized to look fresh.
- Applies only to the T-Zone
Rule 4: Blush like you’ve had sex
- The blush has to look like you’ve worked out or had sex.
- Use a natural-toned blush like Orgasm by Nars (suits all skin types).
- Apply to the apples and blend along the cheekbone to the ear area.
- It should not look marked, it should blend with your skin. A good option are those that come in a cream presentation
Rule 5: Be careful with eyeliner
- The most common mistakes are made with eyeliner.
- Do not abuse eyeliner: It can harden and age you
- Avoid glittery eyeliner: It’s cheesy and nothing else looks good on quinceanera girls at their party
- You don’t always need eyeliner: Sometimes just wearing mascara is more than enough
- Apply it above and below closes your eyes: Use a darker one on top and a lighter one on the bottom..
- When you want more expression in the eyes: Use more mascara, not eyeliner
- If you don’t know how to apply liquid eyeliner: Don’t use it!
- If you have blue or green eyes: Do not use green or blue eyeliner
Rule 6: Human eyelashes
- Avoid spider lashes: When you see four thick, separated and clumpy lashes
- You are not a doll: It usually happens when you wear very long false eyelashes making you look corny and like a doll
- Tip: Apply your mascara, then brush on with a clean applicator (like your mascara), apply the next coat, and brush again. That takes away the lumps
Rule 7: Natural eyebrows
- The shape and tone can make you look corny, big, or tough.
- Use powder instead of pencil to fill them in. Looks more natural
- If you have very dark hair: Use a shade or two shades below to soften the expression
- If you have blonde hair: Use one or two shades above to give more expression
- Do not shave until leaving them in the form of a thread
- Clean only the hairs that are out of place and respect your natural shape
- Do not tattoo them with black ink
Rule 8: Sexy lips without falling into a porn star
- Under no circumstances use eyeliner darker than your lipstick
- Don’t use too much gloss: it looks heavy
- Apply gloss in the center of the mouth to give more volume
- Exfoliate the lips: Nothing worse than lipstick enclosed between injected lips
- Lips outlined on the outside to try to simulate a size that you don’t really have
